Sokka was shuffled into the prisoners' quarters of what appeared to be a train, like the Ba Sing Se monorail. He promptly began to stammer and stutter in spite of himself, as he was presented, rather suddenly, with Suki clothed in little more than two rough pieces of cloth. He began to stammer even more furiously, as though he had a public speaking event to perform in stammers. Then, as though to make matters worse for the sole purpose of tormenting Sokka he noticed his pants growing at a point between his lower abdomen and upper thigh.
He finally regained control of himself and began to attempt to wrestle his shirt down without the use of his arms. Indiscreetly yanking one’s shirt is a hard enough , but without the use of the yanker's arms it becomes a disaster for even master spies. Sokka had quite the crash course in this fact for a good 3 minutes of awkwardness. After he absolutely gave up on hiding his issue he decided the best thing to do would be to find out about the conditions in the small prison
“The conditions? Well, they’re…fine, for a prison,” Suki responded, somewhat surprised.
“No torture I hope?” Sokka asked
“None, not very often anyway, only once, or maybe even twice, as I remember it.”
Sokka slumped to the ground, in fear and displeasure of what was to come. He new it would end badly, especially with his luck, bad was kept from further complaints by a sudden question.
“Hang on, why did they keep you here? And where are your friends?”
“They kept me because they said I knew the avatar and his friends, but especially because I mentioned are close ties. My friends they shipped off quickly, they must have assumed they weren’t worth nearly as much”
“ah, never mention you know someone’s target, ever.”
“I learned that one the hard way, unfortunately”
“And never do it again”
Sokka steadily began to realize that maybe, perhaps, thigns wouldn’t be quite as bad as he had thought. He knew there would be some problems, but the fact that Suki was involved in them too just made it a little more bearable. And at that point, he’d take any comforts.

Oh man. Sokka's definitely a guy, isn't he?
LOL, *nice* chapter, probably my favorite since Zuko rescued Song.

We're back from the dead! At any rate: The prisoners sat there together for about 15 minutes in nervous anticipation. Azula's voice then rang through the chambers "Peasant, the boy, come in here." "Well, I should assume she means me," Sokka said, as he attempted to stand up. He struggled for a few seconds and walked slowly through the chamber, towards Azula's voice. As he trudged along the train, he felt worry and nervousness growing. It continued growing until he thought his chest would burst. He walked into Azula's chamber, and she wasted no time whatsoever in shoving him right into the metal wall. She repeated this process three times for no discernable reason. Sokka stood there, now hunched over, as he waited to hear Azula's justification. Sokka, unfortunately, didn't consider that she might not give one, and Azula simply stood there. "Can I ask what that was for?" Sokka asked weakly. "No," Azula replied, clawing Sokka across the face. "I see," Sokka coughed. "Now, where is the avatar?" "Is that why you threw me against the-" Sokka began, but that was interrupted by Azula's throwing him against the wall a fourth time. Sokka stood there, deciding that the best course of action at this point would be to simply stop talking. "Now where are they?" Azula asked, and Sokka, in keeping with his resolve, didn't say anything. This too, ended poorly, as he was rewarded with a punch to the stomach this time. Mai, who, along with Ty Lee and Zuko, had been standing silently as Azula beat Sokka's guts out, now raised her voice. "Uh...Azula?" Mai began "If you keep this up much longer I think you'll kill him." "So?" "It just seems a little...harsh," Mai said, and Ty Lee and Zuko nodded in agreement. "I don't care," Azula replied. Azula turned around as Sokka stood up, and asked him yet again where Aang was. Sokka, now beaten nearly to submission, said that he didn't know, hoping that she'd at least let him go if he answered her. "Do I look like a fool? You were captured and the avatar couldn;t be far away." Azula replied.
"Well, I was lost. How's that for you?" Sokka asked "You lie."
"Well, if I was so close to Aang, then where would he be?"
"I knew where he was before. But there is no doubt he's moved since then. Where were you planning to go?"
"Don't you think they would have changed their course to find me?" Sokka asked, and Azula, in anger, punched Sokka in the stomach, and Sokka fell over limply.
"Forget it. Mai, take him back to the prison chambers."
"Yes Azula. Should I get your doctor for him?"
"No. Why would I waste his time on that boy?" Azula asked. "Of course." Mai said, as she picked Sokka's half conscious body off the floor and began to take him into the prisoner's car.

Sokka got off the floor slowly, he felt that his face was bleeding slightly, and his stomach and back hurt badly. He struggled to stand, the difficulty of standing without his arms multiplied by his pain. Suki sat there looking scared and concerned moved towards Sokka as he attempted to stand. "Sokka, are you all right?" she asked
"I'm-" he paused, grunting "Fine, don't worry," he finished
"You're bleeding," she said
"I know, it's nothing too bad. I'll be fine," Sokka said, as he tried to lean against the wall, but drew back because of the pain. "One problem though," he said, smiling weakly "I can't lean on anything."
"That's not so bad,"
"Right, and I can't lay down and sleep."
"Well, that's bad."
"It's not all bad, I could lean on you."
"Very funny, Sokka."
The light chapter. Is done.
