I haven't read the post, but because you're posting things that haven't happened I took a stab at it being role playing. Sorry, I meant to say "making up stupid crap that you hope will happen". I guess I'm next. "What we're doing is completely moronic", stated Jet. He then killed himself. Don't expect brilliance from trolls? Cretin. And a kiss for you too. And that from you is a compliment. er...mashnipfaeri, ignore him. He's doing nothing for the storyline. So we can discount Jet being killed (even if we want him to be dead...sigh), cos Zuko wouldn't even do that anyway...

Don't expect brilliance from trolls... _____________________________________________ Jet laughed. He walked over to her and leaned against the tree on one arm. He leaned in close to her. "Come on, doll. If you don't think of something, I might have to." "Get away from her!" snarled Sokka. Beside him, Aang was quiet. He was observing Zuko, who was shooting him looks. He understood what it was Zuko was trying to communicate. He tensed up and Zuko mouthed the words: "One...two...three!" With that, the two boys burst out of their bindings, Zuko using his firebending to release them. Before anyone could respond, Zuko had knocked one boy and taken his broad swords while Aang helped Sokka get free. "Looks like the only one getting punished is you, scoundrel," hissed Zuko, all ready to take revenge on Jet. Jet unsheathed his hook swords. "Bring it on then," smiled Jet. ____________ Who's next? We stopped (seriously) here. Okay! Let us continue! ------- "Very well." Zuko smirked, drawing the broad swords. A moment of silence slid through the air, but as time wore on for just a few moments, Jet smirked also. Suddenly, he leapt into the air, thrusting his hooks forward. Immediately, Zuko put his swords up, and letting Jet fall to the ground, turned around hastily. Jet picked himself up, scoffing, but as his dark eyes ceased their amused twinkling, a frown formed upon his face. Racing towards the Fire Prince, he drew his sword, clashing it against Zuko's broad ones. "You're pathetic," he stated, glaring into the firebender's eyes. Zuko felt himself frown, but as Jet persisted in his attack, he knew he couldn't give in to his taunts. Pushing forward, he thrust the rebel onto the ground, standing above him as he pointed his swords to his neck. "You better stay still," he said. The boy simply scoffed, his glare steady. ---------- Yay! The story continues! Even though it is Zutara. I am kinda ashamed...

"Are you really sure that you want to kill me?" Jet asked. "Do you know what my Freedom Fighters will do to you?"
Zuko stared him down, "I could always hand you over to my sister. Do you know how much she enjoys torturing people?"
Jet was unfazed, though some of his Freedom Fighters took the hint. Longshot stepped foward, "Maybe we should let them go, Jet. We're not going to gain anything."
"NO!" Jet yelled, taking even Zuko by surprise. The rebel looked at Zuko with a severe glare, "If we let even one firebender through our grasp, our mission we be failed."
Zuko smiled, "I guess you just failed then." Aang, much to Jet's dismay, had snuck up behind him. The Avatar sent a strong, precise jet of air straight at Jet, knocking the stubborn teenager out. The other Freedom Fighters ...

stared at the limp body of their leader, dumb-founded. After a moment, they stared at the airbender, and then at Zuko, but as another second slipped through the air, they got on their knees. "Please, please let us go, please, we'll do whatever you ask," they begged, kneeling before the two benders. "Please, please..." Aang stepped forward, picking a small boy up. "Go ahead. But you are to never, ever come near this place again. Go to a village and live there; we will fight the war." And with that, they all scuttled away, nodding and agreeing to the Avatar's terms. "All right, Zuko," Aang started, readying himself. "Let's do this." But to Aang's surprise, the Fire Prince simply shook his head. "No...it doesn't matter." -----------

Okay, I'll do it. I don't mind. --------- A hush fell over the trio as the Fire Prince turned to walk away. "What?" Katara's brow furrowed, and inching forward, she licked her lips. "Why?" Zuko's head remained turned, but as Sokka stood up, he pointed his boomerang at him. "Why are you giving up?" he demanded. "I want a reasonable explanation now!" The firebender's head turned down, as if ashamed, his eyes averting away from the threesome. "Because I've already failed," he replied. "There's no point in me capturing you." He began to walk forward, but as he did, he felt a gentle hand grab his shoulder. Startled, he turned around. To Katara. Her sapphire eyes shimmered with sorrow and pity, a slight smile upon her lips. "Thank you," she said. "But you haven't failed." Zuko nodded, and turning around, left them. As his back disappeared into the trees, Katara began to feel Sokka and Aang's hurt and shocked stares. "What was that, Katara?' Sokka questioned, stepping up to his sister. "I-I don't know. I mean, he just seems so sad." Aang stayed where he was, his grey eyes scanning Katara's face.

HA! (Is proud of self) (says in singsong) I saved Aang, I saved-
Nah, jk. Sorry, guys. Gosh, Zuko walks off into the distance a lot, doesn't he? Lol.
----------------------------------
It had been a week since Zuko, Aang, and the watertribe siblings had fought against Jet and the Freedom Fighters. Zuko had had some, for lack of a better word, success... in the town. He had plenty of money to spend on whatever he needed. His emu-horse was back in a well hidden cave, tied up and safe. The firebender walked toward a fruit stand, money jingling in a sack tied at his waist and some wooden and hard bumping against his side in a bag hanging on his shoulder. Broadswords were resting in their sheath on his back, a hat shadowed his scarred face.
The young refugee payed the man who owned the stand and started picking out the fruit he wanted. When he almost content with the amount of food he had; he just wanted one more peach. His hand and another person's from the opposite side of the cart landed on the desired peach at the same time. The other person's hand hesitated, while Zuko took the peach selfishly for his own. He looked up. He paused.
Wide, azure eyes met his. It was Katara, that waterbender. Zuko reached across the produce and took her hand with his two strong ones, folding her hand around the peach. Without a second look, he made to walk away...
"Wait!"
...but he was prevented.
--------------------------------
Dang, I've had that scene in my head for SO LONG! I FINALLY get to use it for something! Yay!
