Hmm, Joo Dee is/was a very odd character. Say whatever analysis you have of her, whether of the young woman herself or "Joo Dee" the guide in general.

Let's differentiate a little. The first lady had the emphases on the first syllable, so it would sound like Jody. Whereas, the second had emphasis on the second syllable, making it sound more like Jo Dee. However we decide to spell the names, make sure we can differentiate between the first one, the second one,and the tour guides in general. It will make life easier for everyone.

I thought she was creepy and mindless at first, but began to feel very sorry for her when she panicked after seeing the Gaang at the party. She seemed to know what she was facing. Suddenly she seemed human.

I liked her, I thought she was quite funny yet creepy at the same time, I am very sure that the person at the end was not the same, I have a very funny felling that it was Jet!!!! This was the first Joo Dee that we saw for most of the show: This is the Joo Dee at the End: And of course Jet: Now if you very carefully at the Jet and the "person" that is shown at the end of the episode they look at lot like each other. You can tell it is not the same "person", not to sure how they would change his voice, but the thought of Jet in a dress it enough to crack me up laughing ;D!!!

Yeah, they do share similar charateristics, but i highly doubt that's Jet. (Sure seems funny, Jet walking around in a dress)

Yep, I was feeling the whole "Stepford" vibe everytime she's on-screen. Bai Sing Se is like all the science fiction stories and movies I've ever seen and read, the freakiest being the novel "Brave New World".

Stepford Wife all the way.
It seems that whomever the DaiLee hires has to live up to their expectations (thus Joo Dee #1's reaction) or they get...
Get what? Imprisioned? Killed? I don't think fired is what really happens judging from the look on her face.
I don't think Joo Dee #2 is Jet either. There is not even a slight resemblance there. I think she is just the next random, brainwashed female that they call Joo Dee.
Strange bunch those folks in Ba Sing Se are.

I'm sure they have a whole "resource," if you will, of brainwashed women. Then when the current Joo Dee messes up, they bring in the next one and name her Joo Dee. She continues on like nothing happened.

I love the idea of the EK a stock of Joo Dees. It just completes the incredibly creepy, dystopian feel of Ba Sing Se.
We can just differentiate between them by calling them Joo Dee 1, and Joo Dee 2 (and so on, if they just keep replacing her).

It would be scary if Jet was the new Joo Dee...

It would be scary if Jet was the new Joo Dee... That would be absolutely horrifying.
