@ Breathing: I really don't value any significance in the fireflies, although I did state that usually fireflies mean the end of something. But yes, perhaps it signified the end of Zuko's loyalty to the Fire Nation? Fireflies... to me, I don't know, they're just put in a scene to either have: -a dramatic effect -a romantic touch -or to make a scene look pretty I pick the third when it comes to Soko. ;D That's what I was thinking. In another show, there was a scene with two characters surrounded by fireflies, and the two characters got together in the end. I had never even heard of fireflies signifying death before.

XD !!! I just thought the fireflies were nice for the scenery, before reading the theories on it too! XD!!! Ouck! XD I'm glad I'm not the only one. ;D I didn't even know that fireflies meant anything. Not until I came here, anyway.

My heart is singing. xD I always thought of them as the end of something or death... because fireflies are ephemeral--they die too early, like butterflies. >_> Dunno, been reading too much stuff. ;D

Butterflies were a symbol of death, I think, in China. It has to do with this folklore tale, my friend told me. She's chinese, too, so she's probably right 95%...<_< Cause I don't really remember all what she told me about the tale.
I think the tale had to do with how two lovers couldn't be together, etc, and the man killed himself because he couldn't be with the woman, then the woman killed herself by jumping in a well, and then she came out as a white butterfly.
I don't think fireflies had anything to do with death though, I haven't read anything on it. I just assumed at first because someone said, but I couldn't find anything on it.
Anyway back on Song...
Well, since Song has a Korean outfit, I kinda wish I knew Korean instead of some Chinese just incase if "Song" meant anything in Korean. If not, or if it was based on the Chinese pinyin, then I'm happy <_<;

^I did some research, Song or Sung is a fairly popular Korean name (But it's a family name...). Apparently there really isn't a set list of first names like in English; Korean first names are virtually always unique.

What does "Song" or "Sung" mean in Korean, gambitia? It didn't say. I'll try to find out if it means something. EDIT: There are two different ways to write 'song' in Korean. I used babelfish, because I can't read Korean and know no one who can. The first way came out meaning "characteristic." The second way meant "Sung $$ln.' If anyone really knows what 'song' means in Korean (I don't trust Babelfish) please tell us!

@ babbs: Maybe her name is spelled Sung then. Was this confirmed somewhere? Or was the spelling of her name just a popular theory?
@ gambitia: babelfish isn't very trustworthy. I used it when my French host sister was here. I can't remember what word we put in, but she said it was wrong.

I've seen it spelled as "Song" on tv.com and wikipedia, and on my captions it's spelled "Song" also.
I'm not really sure if the name "Song" has been officially confirmed by a reliable source yet.

I'm not sure about what I think of Song... But I'm also not sure if I like her... Well, my friend doesn't, and I usually follow her opinions... I guess she was ok, but I agree with the people who think she's just a one-timer... =D
