I made a sight for the Warriors, Warriors: Clan of Shadow . One of my cats, FinchStar, Ihas a past I am very proud of. So here it is. If you like it, check out Clans of Shadow!
"Pinefrost?"
" Yes, Finchpaw."
" I smell something fowl."
Pinefrost sniffed the air, then she spat a curse, " Badger! Finchpaw, get out of here!"
Finchpaw began to run, the memories of his earlier training came back to him. He remembered Pinefrost telling him that a warrior should never run that they should always defend their clan mates, even with the cost of their own lives.
"No. A warrior should never run." Finchpaw stated clearly, standing next to his mentor. Pinefrost nodded proudly at her apprentice, then a growl was heard as a badger came out of the bushes.
Pinefrost pounced for its head, as Finchpaw went for its back. Together, mentor and apprentice battled the badger, driving it out of NightClan territory.
The badger let out an angry screech as Finchpaw clawed it's eye, then it swiped out with large claws. It's claws went deep into the muscle flesh of Finchpaw's leg as he tried to dodge. he fell onto the forest floor in a heap of fur and blood. The badger lifted it's paw to deal a death blow, then Pinefrost came out of nowhere and slammed into the badger, gripping its fur with her teeth and clawing at its eyes.
Finchpaw blinked, then blacked out in a wave of darkness and blood.
He awoke, warm and stiff. His leg was bandaged, and he was curled in a nest of moss. The smell of herbs was all around him, and he knew he must be in the medicine cat's den.
He turned to wards the medicine cat, winced at the pain that shot up though his leg.
"Oh, your awake." She said.
" Where is Pinefrost? Shouldn't she be in here to? The badger clawed her pretty badly-" He broke off as he saw the pain and sadness in the medicine cats eyes.
"Wh-Where is she! Where is Pinefrost! Where is my mentor!" Tears began to flood down his eyes. " Where!"
"I-I'm sorry Finchpaw. Pine-Pinefrost is dead."
The world seemed to end for Finchpaw just then. His beloved mentor was gone, dead, lost to StarClan, and it was all his fault.
He began to weep, the medicine cat only stared at him, gloom in her eyes. She knew that neither words nor herbs could heal the wound in this cat's heart.
