Well some folks seemed to like the one viideo I shared with them in the pictures thread so I thought I throw another out there... Forget Youtube! I can render my Flash Video at whatever size I want! Which reminds me though... You'll need the latest version of Flash 9 to play these which you can download here: www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/The first one is the music video some of you have seen before. It's just a short gag that I did for a festival segment a couple years ago: The Andre 3000 cartoon character was orginally supposed to be a real life look-alike playing the part that I would then insert into the Lord of the Rings footage. However, the guy we got to play him continuously didn't show up for filming. We were on a quickly approaching deadline so I said "forget him" and animated what you saw in the video. It was drawn on paper (I stink at Wacom tablets), scanned into the computer and then animated in After Effects. Stupid but fun stuff. People at the festival loved it. They always like ones that I don't appear in. XD The next was a Star Wars theme and I put this next one together as a 'music video' to go along with the song, "Star Wars Peripheral Characters Song for Nerds" -by Mr. Mookster. Aside from editing all the film clips to his music, I shot the trio of G-Funk Galaxy posers and put them into Jabba's Palace with some other shady folks in the background to make it look a little more populated. >>An Easter Egg<<

Thanks guys! I've got another set of festival clips from last year. I should first mention how they worka though. Every year I help host a student film festival. We usually produce lead-in segments that introduce the various video categories like, Public Service Announcement, Music Videos, Animation etc. Each year these clips also revolve around a student-chosen theme (usually different movies). For the clips featured here, they decided to make the segments Lego-Themed. These are some of the segment clips I personally produced & animated: –Yes, it’s named it after me. No, I didn’t choose that myself XD the students did. I objected, but they insisted- and so it was a nice compliment I couldn’t really say no to and it helped inflate my 'eago.'

XD It's just that I can no longer think of that word without wanting to replace it the much cooler version we've been using. Try saying it! It sounds smooth & mysterious like Spanish or something... ...yeah okay I'll stop.

I've been digging through all my stuff and encoding it. I don't know if I want to post the video game segments I did for local TV... Only because I hosted them and I stunk at it. XD

Well okay... Another project I produced was for a local cable affiliate. I made a couple of short 5 minute ‘Video Game Review’ segments that were incorporated into a larger program made up of other ‘trendy’ what's-happening-now-in-the-world-of-material-pursuits reports. I’m going to warn you- I personally hosted these segments myself because, well… I couldn’t get anyone else to do it. I hate my on-screen presence and line delivery and I look pretty wiped-out. I haven’t actually seen these in a few years and seeing them again now I recall that I made them when I was dealing with a pretty serious illness. I’m thin (I had lost almost 35 lbs.), pale, and have 10-ton bags under my eyes. It may be pure vanity, but think I look REALLY bad. So don't have any babies in the room when you play these. They just might start crying. Remember, this was a couple years ago when the DS first came out. I had actually just barely managed to get mine before this video was made. So if some of the technical facts I mention in it are wrong... That's because I was making them up. XD Oh yes- To answer the question posed at the end of the video: The DS destroys the PSP in every conceivable way. The gig only lasted for two episodes because I was the only one who actually completed the video segments he was hired to do on time and the show was soon cancelled. Which was actually okay with me. I didn't need the short & stressful deadlines and I still got something solid for my portfolio out of it. So that’s a bit of what I do you if you were curious to know. I have other projects in the works as always. I'll have to see if I can find any of my old college stuff... That junk was weird...
