OK, lets start from the top: you want critique, not critizism They are a little hard to see. But from what I can tell they are nice... Do you use ink? They'd show up a lot better...I tried a sharpie, but it pretty much ruined the picture on the other side of the page...what can I say, I am cheap!

I don't really have any good pens or anything yet, so i usually don't use ink. Also, I'm paranoid that I'll ruin my sketches by inking tham, and some of them took me a really long time.

Maybe you can run them trough a copy machine, make several copies of each and play around with the ink (than you can get away with a sharpie, too! just don't get a buzz!)

I haven't really had a chance to try, but I did photocopy some of them. I'll put up inked versions once I finish them

Yours are very nice and clean. Especially the eyes. Mine from far away just look like a big blob of mess. Now I'm learning to draw a little cleaner.

I think the best piece of advice I can give you is not to limit yourself to one genre.
The problem that I find a lot of people run into when they decide early on that they want to draw one particular way is that they skip over the basics, especially in anime. Because the style calls for some degree of simplification of forms people tend to overlook the form altogether. I'm not trying to insult you at all, it's just a problem I've noticed with a lot of beginners, myself included.
I think the easiest way to overcome this problem is to develop your real-life drawing skills. For instance, in the first picture you posted the way the arm connects to the body is off. My suggestion would be to observe shoulders in real-life and figure out how they connect and what kind of lines they cause on the body. Then once you understand how they work you can translate that into an anime drawing style much more successfully. If you apply that to the entire body you'll wind up with a figure that looks realistic even though it is drawn in a non-realistic style.
I think you have definite potential, you just need to continue training yourself.

That's a good idea. I'll try that. Now if I just have to force my friends to sit in wierd positions so that I can draw them...

I really like your drawings, the eyes are great. The anatomy is a little off, but I'm sure that if you follow Damunch's advice, you'll get better in that. I usally go through magazines and stocks in DeviantART instead of asking people to pose, it's way easier. Luck!
