For those of you who settle for Peltz; just keep in mind this is what you could have had. She apparently audition and according to rumors on this next bit of information was the runner up to Peltz. Also, Jackson Rathbone apparently wanted the role of Prince Zuko. www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPvTSaWxUrs

By Christmas, it will have been 6 months since they released their teaser trailer. Hopefully, they will throw us another bone by New Year's.

Ohh Viacom, how you never cease to screw us over and make us wait for hell to freeze over before you release any new information about Avatar:TLA Anyone besides me always gets Avatar( James Cameron) confused with ATLA? It's because we've been referring to it since 2005, and James Cameron should have been made to pick a different name.

^^ Youre far from the only one. My own mum asked me if Avatar was about "that bald headed kid " even though she never watched the show. Cameron had the idea for the film and started production long before Viacom belatedly decided they could squeeze a few more dollars out of Avatar:TLA by making a big screen production of the series. He also carried it out wonderfully in contrast to what many people expect to get next year from this show. Bah!

Well, I guess if he decided to use the title before viacom decided to milk ATLA

I don't know. I'm just happy with this casting choice. Just on the picture alone, I get the same young, innocent vibe I got from the cartoon aang. Let's face it, I'm not going to see the movie for the acting, I'm going to see it because I'm a fan. I want to see probably my favorite cartoon of all time on the big screen. The whole thing about skin I couldn't care less. Not only am I seeing it at midnight. But I'm seeing it four or five times after. Cannot wait until the summer! I can only hope a large, positive reaction to the film generates enough interest in another Avatar tv series. Wishful thinking from a fan boy I suppose.

James Cameron's Avatar is one big stolen cash cow. He stole our name, the plot from Disney's Pocahontas, and the residents of Smurf-land.

Eh, it's not like "Avatar" was a brand new world created by Bryke or anything...
I don't mind delays in the releases of trailers. It keeps the suspense alive. ^_^

Is the Superbowl trailer the same one that's going to be in theaters, or is that one going to be longer?
