Well Mr Greg I'm not so great with words so forgive me if what I say comes out wrong^^;;, but I wanted to let you know he's in my prayers too. He'll always be with you no matter what happens. Hopefully you guys can try not to focus too much on the dying part and focus on the fact that he's still alive.

Dear god.
If you are all-knowing and all all-powerful, then my thoughts mean verry little.

but if you are not 100% all-knowing and all all-powerful, I ask you to direct you attention Towards Mr. Baldwin, and transfer some of my energy/love/whatever you want to call it, his way.

and i post this here because prayers are thoughts manifested into will. and, just maby, the more minds that carry this prayer/these thoughts... the more energy/love that may reach your father.

May the New year bring new hope... an inexhaustible resource.

Hello, my friends.

I realize that this forum is called "Ask Greg Baldwin", rather than "Greg Baldwin Shares Personal Things That Are Going On In His Life."

However...

My father...Roy D. Baldwin...passed away last night. He was a good man and I loved him dearly.

Peace.

Dear Mr. Baldwin,

I wish to offer my sincerest and deepest condolences, I lost my father to cancer when I was a mere 6 yr. old little girl, your grief will subside with time, but his memory lives on in you and in that way, remains immortal.

Really sorry to hear that Mr Baldwin, I offer my condolences too, losing someone you love may be painfull but at least you know he will rest in peace at last, he will always be with you no matter how much time passes, remember the good times you shared with him and eventually you will feel better about it.

I'm sorry to hear that your father died, Greg. I've never had a death in my family, so I can't relate to your loss. But I can say that you'll see him again one day. That's what I believe, anyway.

I know that there honestly isn't a single thing in the world that I could possibly say to make this time any easier for you or your family, but I think I speak for all of DH when I say that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hello, my friends.

It's been a while since I posted anything. We gave my dear father quite a send-off in Texas and I'm slowly processing what it's like to live in a world not occupied by him. I'm glad he lived to see me get the role of Iroh. He was proud of me. Thank you all for you kind words and thoughts. They have consoled me more than you know.

And now...back to the Land of the Living...

"What's your favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving?"

Mashed potatoes with gravy and cornbread stuffing.

"That does sound interesting. What are the names of these works?"

The first volume is called "How Few Remain". Then comes a series called "The Great War", followed by the "American Empire" series and finally the "Settling Accounts" series. All by Harry Turtledove. Highly recommended!

"How does it feel working with Dante Basco who was familiar with Mako? Is Avatar the best product you worked on or is there others? Are you getting along with the other actors?"

Dante's fantastic, as are all the actors. I must admit, though, it was EXTREMELY intimidating the first time I performed the role of Iroh with the rest of the cast! Talk about pressure! And yes, "Avatar" is (in my humble opinion) the finest production I've had the privilege of working on.

"I have a few questions, whats it like to work in a career where you act out for an anime? ( Im thinking making my own anime, and possibly going into the career feild.) Are anyother members of the cast members here??"

It beats working for a living! As for any other cast members participating in this forum...I honestly don't know. Maybe. Who knows?

And now...if I may...I'd like to share an "Avatar" story. I was unloading groceries in front of my house the other day and my neighbor's kid (probably 19 - 20 years old) flagged me down. He is...as are so many in this strange corner of the world...an actor. He'd just been called back for the role of Sokka in the live-action "Avatar" movie. Talk about small world! We laughed about Iroh and Sokka living next door to each other. Only in LA!

That's all for today. I'll check back in more regularly now that the drama in my life seems to have abated somewhat.

Peace.

That's a very funny story! (I hear the sound of a dozen fanfics being launched...) ;)

I'm glad to hear you're healing, and I hope you and your family keep doing well. [image] You were blessed to have a good father, and I know you'll carry on the tradition. I'm happy he got to see you succeed.

Wow, it really is a small world! What a coincidence. Maybe Iroh and Sokka will become friends in the show too.

Incredible...they've started casting already?! Geez, we're really out of the loop!

Oh, and I would like to offer my condolences for what happened, even if it's a little late. May he rest in peace.
